Five fixes for flat AI smut
Left to their defaults, AI writers do three things that kill erotica. They rush to the sex, they reach for euphemisms like “her core” and “his length”, and they repeat the same handful of phrases until you can guess the next line. Mainstream assistants add a fourth: they refuse or fade to black. Asking nicely doesn’t fix any of it. Telling the AI exactly what you want does, and the builder writes most of these fixes into the prompt for you.
1. Give them a reason to want each other
“Write a sex scene between Mara and Theo” gives the AI nothing to work with. “Mara and Theo have been rivals at work for two years, and tonight the conference hotel has given them one room with one bed” gives it tension, and tension is most of what makes smut hot. 2. Set the pace, beat by beat
An AI left alone tends to reach the sex by the second paragraph and then has nowhere to go. Spell out the beats: the setup, the first touch, escalation, the sex itself and a short aftermath. The builder adds that line to every prompt.
3. Say how explicit, in plain words
“Make it explicit” is vague, and it can come back as “a bit steamy”. Say what you mean: “use plain, direct words for bodies and sex, never euphemisms”. Or the opposite, if you’d rather it faded out at the bedroom door. That’s the “How filthy” row.
4. Ban the clichés

What to look for in an AI smut writer
The prompt does most of the work, but the tool still matters. Before you pay for one, check five things:
