What happens next
- I read it. Every submission lands in my inbox, and I open all of them.
- If it fits, it gets listed. It goes on its board as “not scored yet”: a link, with no score and no tier.
- Then it gets scored. I go through the published prices, the terms and billing pages and the security record. Five sub-scores set the tier, and the whole method is on How I rate.
Questions
Does it cost anything to submit a site?
No. Submitting is free and so is being listed. I don’t sell listings, reviews or scores.
Can I pay for a higher score?
No. A score is the weighted average of five sub-scores, and the tier comes straight from the score. Sites that pay me a commission get a fixed boost of 1 point in the sort order, which only moves them within their tier. It never changes a score or a tier.
Do I need an affiliate program to get listed?
No. The free tubes board has no partners at all. If you do run a program, say so on the form: it can move a site up within its tier, and that’s all it can do.
How long does it take?
There’s no fixed timeline and no way to jump the queue. You’ll hear from me if I need something, or when the site is listed. If it’s a no, you probably won’t.
