What it is like to use
Stripchat is what you would get if you rebuilt a cam site from scratch today. The home page loads fast, thumbnails preview the live stream when you hover, and the filters are genuinely good: you can narrow by region, age range, body type, language, show type and a long list of tags, and the results update instantly.
On a phone, it is the best of the big free sites. The mobile site feels like an app, the player is stable, and tipping takes two taps. There is no need to install anything.
The roster is huge and noticeably global, with a lot of performers from Europe and Latin America. That makes it strong at hours when the US-heavy sites are quieter.
VR shows
Stripchat pushed VR cam shows further than any rival. Performers with the right camera setup stream in stereo, and with a headset you get the sense of being in the room. It is a niche, but a real one, and nobody else does it at this scale. Without a headset you can still watch VR rooms as normal video.
What you actually pay
Watching is free. Tokens work out at roughly 8 to 11 cents each depending on pack size, country and payment method. Stripchat varies its pricing more by region than Chaturbate does, so it is worth checking the store in your own currency before assuming.
Look out for bonus-token promotions on larger packs, which come around regularly. Private shows are priced per minute by each performer, and many set rates below what you would pay for a comparable show on a premium site. An optional paid membership adds extras, but the site is fully usable without it.
