Hentai Heroes is a browser RPG from Kinkoid, and the first surprise is that it is actually a game. You play a hero pulled into a world of parody characters, you collect girls, level them up, and send them into battles against other players and story bosses. Winning unlocks new characters and, of course, new scenes.
The writing is deliberately silly. It parodies anime and games relentlessly and does not take itself seriously for a second, which is a big part of why people stick with it. Regular events add new characters and storylines, so there is almost always something to work toward.
It runs in any browser, including on phones, with no download.
Free versus paid
You can play Hentai Heroes for a long time without spending anything. Early progress is quick, and daily rewards keep things moving.
Like every free-to-play game, it gets slower the further you go. Paying speeds things up and unlocks some characters faster, but patience gets you most of the way. It is designed around logging in daily, which is either a feature or a warning depending on how much of your evening you want it to take.
How it compares
Pornstar Harem uses the same engine and structure with real adult stars instead of drawn characters, and Comix Harem does the same with a comic-book look. If you enjoy one, you will probably enjoy the others. Nutaku is a whole store of adult games, worth browsing once you know what kind of game you like.
Verdict
The best free hentai game I have found: genuinely playable, funny, and generous to people who never spend a cent. Just be ready for the daily-login habit it is designed to create.
